At Level Playing Field Inc (LPF), we believe that sport has the unique power to bring people of diverse backgrounds together and to help create a more just world. Our vision is to use sport to help create equal opportunities for young women in the Americas.

The specific goals of our camps are to:

• build confidence, self-esteem, and improve the quality of life for young women in host countries through the introduction to sport
• immerse female collegiate athletes from the US in a new culture, language and to develop skills for participating in or managing service projects
• facilitate positive social change

Our aim is to build a network of camps that provide opportunities for young women from both sides of the wealth divide throughout North, Central and South America. Our model is based on the concept of mutual benefits, where both volunteers and local participants gain valuable life lessons and experiences.

At the local level, our objective is to build strong partnerships with organizations in each location. Through offering technical assistance, we support these organizations to develop locally run training programs and leagues, providing our participants the infrastructure required to continue their involvement in soccer beyond the camp itself.
